Our Story.

Our story begins with our heroine: Anastasia. If asked who is her girlhood heroine? She would say Anne of Green Gables! She loves being outdoors, is often inclined to day-dreaming, and always has a book on hand. In 2021, Anastasia and her husband, Dan, and son, Ethan, bought the most peculiar 1890s farm in Southeast Michigan. This is where our story begins. This delightful farmhouse with green gables and a white picket fence looks straight out of the book penned by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
 
Together, they are in the process of restoring the farmstead to its former glory. While there are no white sandy beaches like those on Prince Edward Isle, beautiful countryside abounds with scrumptious views.

 

They invite you to follow along on the journey. ​Our heroine takes great delight in writing, baking, gardening, and (of course) puffed sleeves.​
